- Single sign-on across your app stack. We connect JumpCloud SSO to the apps your team uses every day (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Adobe Creative Cloud, AWS, GitHub, and the hundreds of other apps in the JumpCloud catalogue) so people log in once and IT controls access from one place.
- Mac and Windows device management. We enrol your devices into JumpCloud, apply configuration policies, push software, enforce disk encryption, and manage updates. For Mac fleets, we use Apple’s MDM framework alongside JumpCloud’s policy engine.
- Conditional access and zero-trust controls. We configure access policies based on device posture, location, and user group, so a contractor on an unmanaged laptop doesn’t get the same access as a full-time employee on a managed Mac.
- Security and compliance posture. We apply password policies, MFA enforcement, and device compliance rules that align with Cyber Essentials requirements, and tie this into the broader cyber security work we do for the business.
- User onboarding and offboarding. We build joiner-mover-leaver workflows so new starters get the right access on day one and leavers are deprovisioned across every connected app the moment they exit. No orphaned accounts, no lingering licences.

When JumpCloud is the right fit, and when it isn’t
JumpCloud is often the right call for businesses that want one platform doing identity, SSO, and device management without the cost or complexity of running Jamf plus a separate identity provider. It’s particularly strong for hybrid Mac-and-Windows environments where you want everything in one console.
That said, if your business is heavily Mac-first and you need the deepest possible Apple device management (granular configuration profiles, advanced patch management for Mac apps, sophisticated zero-touch deployment) Jamf is still the more capable tool for the Apple side. Some of our clients run Jamf for devices and JumpCloud or Entra ID for identity. Equally, if you’re already deeply invested in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, layering JumpCloud on top may be duplication you don’t need.
