Apple: Seamless IT, Built for Creative and Ambitious Teams

Expert IT support for businesses running on Apple – secure, scalable, and stress-free

As Apple Premium Technical Partners, we deploy, manage, and support Apple hardware and infrastructure for businesses across London and the UK, handling everything from zero-touch device deployment to ongoing fleet security, all within ourIT Success® Plans. Apple hardware is only as good as the infrastructure around it. Without proper device management, identity configuration, and security policies in place, even the best Mac fleet creates risk – inconsistent setups, unpatched devices, and no audit trail when something goes wrong. Whether you run a fully Apple or hybrid environment, Dr Logic manages the complete Apple platform so your team can focus on their work.

What Dr Logic Delivers with Apple

We don’t just support Apple hardware; we configure and manage the full ecosystem around it. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • Hardware procurement and deployment – We advise on the right device specifications for each role, procure hardware directly, and ensure every Mac, iPhone, and iPad arrives enrolled and ready via Apple Business and your MDM platform. No manual setup required at the user’s end.
  • Zero-touch deployment with Blueprints – New devices configure themselves on first sign-in. The right apps, settings, and security policies apply automatically, whether the employee is in the office or receiving their device remotely.
  • Managed Apple Accounts and identity federation – We configure automated account provisioning through Microsoft 365 / Entra ID or Google Workspace, so accounts are created and deactivated as people join and leave, with cryptographic separation between work and personal data on every device.
  • Security policy enforcement – FileVault encryption, firewall configuration, passcode policies, and OS update timelines are enforced centrally across your fleet through MDM, not left to individual users. This is what makes your Apple estate evidenceable for Cyber Essentials.
  • App distribution and licence management – We manage Apps & Books purchasing through Apple Business, handle volume licensing, and deploy the right apps to the right people automatically, keeping software current without relying on users to act.
  • Integration with Jamf, JumpCloud, and the wider stack – Apple Business is the infrastructure layer. For most clients, it works alongside Jamf for deeper MDM control and JumpCloud for identity management. We configure and maintain all three as a joined-up system.

Apple Premium Technical Partner

Dr Logic holds Apple Premium Technical Partner status, awarded in April 2026 and the highest tier within Apple’s consultancy-focused partner programme. The designation reflects certified expertise, ongoing training, and demonstrated experience managing Apple deployments at scale across macOS and iOS.This sits alongside our engineers’ certifications across Apple technologies and the supporting platforms, Jamf, JumpCloud, and Addigy, that sit around an Apple fleet in a business environment. It makes Dr Logic one of the most Apple-credentialed MSPs in the UK. You can read more about what this means on our Apple Premium Technical Partner page.

Apple or Windows – We’ll Advise Honestly

Apple is the right platform for most of the businesses Dr Logic works with, creative agencies and professional services firms, where hardware performance, software ecosystem, and employee preference all point the same way.

For some businesses, particularly those running Windows-only line-of-business applications or with an existing deep investment in Microsoft infrastructure, a Windows-first or hybrid approach makes more sense. Dr Logic supports hybrid Apple and Windows environments as well as pure Apple fleets, and we’ll tell you honestly which setup fits your situation rather than advocating for Apple regardless.

What does Dr Logic actually manage on the Apple platform?

Dr Logic manages the full Apple ecosystem for business, hardware procurement and lifecycle planning, device enrolment and MDM configuration via Apple Business and Jamf or Addigy, Managed Apple Accounts federated to your identity provider, app distribution and licensing, security policy enforcement, and ongoing fleet monitoring. This is built into our IT Success® Plans rather than treated as a separate project.

What is Apple Premium Technical Partner status?

Apple Premium Technical Partner is the highest tier within Apple’s consultancy partner programme. It’s awarded to organisations that meet Apple’s requirements for technical capability, team certifications, and demonstrated experience managing Apple deployments in business environments. Dr Logic was awarded this status in April 2026. It means the engineers managing your Apple estate are assessed against Apple’s own standards, not self-certified.

How does Apple integrate with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Apple Business connects directly to Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID as identity providers. Managed Apple Accounts are created and deactivated automatically as you add or remove users in those systems, and employees sign in with their existing work credentials across services. Dr Logic configures and maintains this federation as part of the managed service. See also our pages on Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

Do I need Jamf if I'm using Apple Business?

They work at different layers, and most businesses need both. Apple Business is the infrastructure layer – where devices enrol, Managed Apple Accounts are provisioned, and app purchasing lives. Jamf sits on top and provides deeper MDM control, compliance reporting, and security integration. For businesses with Cyber Essentials obligations or fleets of around 25 devices, Jamf alongside Apple Business is almost always the right combination. Dr Logic manages both.

Does Apple hardware help with Cyber Essentials?

Apple’s platform makes several Cyber Essentials controls straightforward to implement; firewall enforcement, FileVault encryption, and patch management are all configurable centrally through MDM. The limitation is that Apple Business’s built-in MDM doesn’t produce the compliance audit trail an assessor needs for formal certification. For clients going through Cyber Essentials, Dr Logic pairs Apple Business with a dedicated MDM platform and covers the remaining requirements as part of our Cyber Essentials service.

How does Apple device management fit into Dr Logic's IT Support Plans?

Apple platform management, including Apple Business administration, MDM configuration through Jamf or Addigy, and ongoing fleet monitoring, is built into our IT Success® Plans rather than treated as a bolt-on. Device enrolment, policy management, and compliance monitoring are handled as part of your ongoing service and reviewed regularly as your business grows and changes.
