Dr Logic achieves Apple Premium Technical Partner status: what it means for your business

We’ve been part of Apple’s partner ecosystem for a long time. Our Founder & CEO, Roman, has been working with Apple technology since 1986. That’s not a marketing line. It’s the foundation everything else is built on.

So when Apple restructured its partner programme in late 2025, replacing the Apple Consultants Network with the new Apple Partner Network, we didn’t just requalify. We qualified at the highest consultancy tier available: Apple Premium Technical Partner.

Here’s what that actually means, and why it matters if your business runs on Macs.

What changed with the Apple Partner Network?

Apple’s new partner framework launched in autumn 2025. It replaced the long-standing Apple Consultants Network with a more structured programme split into four categories: Apple Business Partner, Apple Premium Business Partner, Apple Premium Education Partner, and the consultancy track, which now has two tiers – Apple Technical Partner and Apple Premium Technical Partner.

The Premium Technical Partner designation sits at the top of the consultancy side. It’s not a rebrand of what we had before. Apple set the bar higher, and the requirements to reach this level are considerably more demanding than the standard tier.

What Apple requires for Premium Technical Partner status

Apple doesn’t hand this out easily. To qualify, a partner has to demonstrate advanced capability across several areas:

  • Apple IT solutions certification – covering deployment, configuration and ongoing management across macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.
  • Advanced device management expertise – including Apple Business Manager, MDM integration, and zero-touch enrolment at scale.
  • Wi-Fi networking certification – ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across Apple environments.
  • Robust Level 1 support – with the team and infrastructure to deliver responsive, knowledgeable first-line support.
  • Annual recertification – maintaining current knowledge as Apple’s ecosystem evolves with each release cycle.

These aren’t tick-box exercises. They represent a genuine, ongoing commitment to staying at the front of Apple’s enterprise technology. And they’re independently verified by Apple, not self-declared.

Why this matters if you run a Mac-first business

If your business relies on Apple hardware, the quality of your IT partner directly affects uptime, security, and how well your technology scales with your team.

Working with an Apple Premium Technical Partner gives you:

  • A direct escalation path to Apple’s enterprise support – when an issue goes beyond standard troubleshooting, we have a direct line to Apple’s own team. That’s not something every IT provider can offer.
  • Verified expertise across the full Apple ecosystem – not just Mac support, but iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, and the integrations that connect them all.
  • Confidence your IT partner meets Apple’s own standards – independently validated, so you don’t have to take our word for it.
  • Alignment with Apple’s latest deployment and security practices – which is critical if you’re handling sensitive data or operating in a regulated sector.

For growing agencies, creative businesses and professional services firms running Mac-first environments, this is the difference between IT support that reacts to problems and IT strategy that stays ahead of them.

FAQs

What is an Apple Premium Technical Partner?

An Apple Premium Technical Partner is the highest tier within the consultancy track of Apple’s Partner Network. It means a provider has met Apple’s most demanding requirements for technical certifications, service delivery, and ongoing training across Apple’s business ecosystem.

How is Premium Technical Partner different from Apple Technical Partner?

The Premium tier requires advanced certifications in Apple IT solutions, device management, and Wi-Fi networking – beyond the standard Technical Partner baseline. Premium partners must demonstrate more robust service capabilities and complete additional annual training to maintain their status.

Why does Apple partner status matter when choosing an IT provider?

Apple’s accreditation process independently verifies a provider’s expertise, certifications, and service quality. It means the partner has direct access to Apple’s enterprise support resources and follows Apple’s recommended deployment and security practices, giving businesses confidence that their environment is in qualified hands.
