Dr Logic is committed to acting responsibly and transparently in how we engage with public policy, taxation, and broader societal issues, supporting our alignment with recognised responsible business standards. This policy is reviewed and approved by the company’s Directors.
Responsible Lobbying & Public Policy Engagement
Dr Logic does not currently engage in lobbying or political advocacy activities. We will update this statement if that changes. Where relevant, any future public policy engagement will be guided by the following principles:
• Alignment with positive social and environmental outcomes, based on evidence-based decision-making
• Transparency in any external engagements or representations
• Zero tolerance for bribery or corruption
• Clear internal governance and board oversight
Responsible Tax Practice
We pay taxes responsibly, transparently, and in full compliance with applicable laws, and do not engage in aggressive tax planning or artificial arrangements to shift profits or avoid tax obligations. We pay tax where economic value is created, and this is overseen by senior leadership.
Governance & Oversight
Responsibility for this policy sits with the Board of Directors, who review and approve it to ensure it remains appropriate, proportionate, and aligned with our values and legal obligations, and update it as needed. Any concerns about our business conduct, tax practices, or public policy engagement can be raised through our external grievance procedure.
Collective Action & Wider Impact
We recognise that businesses play a role beyond their own operations in contributing to broader social and environmental outcomes, through activities such as mentoring, industry collaboration, thought leadership, and public policy advocacy.
Current activity: Dr Logic Ltd is a public supporter of the Better Business Act, a campaign led by B Lab UK calling for a change to Section 172 of the Companies Act 2006 so that all UK companies must consider the interests of employees, customers, communities, and the environment alongside shareholders. See our internal Collective Action Evidence Record for details.
