Golden Gate and the End of Intel
Apple named this year’s macOS release Golden Gate, macOS 27. The name nods to the strait near Apple’s Cupertino headquarters. The substance is more consequential: macOS Golden Gate requires Apple Silicon, Rosetta 2 is being retired, and Intel Macs will not receive the update. For any organisation still running Intel machines, the replacement conversation is no longer theoretical, it now has a hard security boundary attached to it.

Child Safety and New Parental Controls

The Latest on iOS 27
